摘要:Lindblad master equation approach is a neat and powerful tool to study open quantum systems under Born-Markov approximation. But the other side of the coin is that Lindblad master equation approach is no longer valid when we study a structured environment (colored noise) or the short-time dynamics. Here, we derive and analyze the exact non-Markovian master equation to fully understand the dynamics of an open quantum system in the non-Markovian regime. It is shown that many innovative phenomena are unique in the non-Markovian dynamics and can be applied to design the quantum control strategies.
