Professor Xu Zhuan

Personal profile:
Xu Zhuan, male, born in 1965 in Lin'an, Zhejiang Province, graduated from the Department of Physics, University of Science and Technology of China in 1988. He received his Ph.D. degree in condensed physics from Zhejiang University in 1994. He was a professor and professor of physics at Zhejiang University since 2000. In 2002 by the National Outstanding Youth Fund, selected in Zhejiang Province, 151 level. Member of the CPPCC in Zhejiang Province (2003-2007). Professor of Changjiang Scholar, Ministry of Education,.

Foreign research experience:
1997.8-2000.2: University of Princeton, Department of Physics, visiting scholar;
2000.7-2000.9: Visiting Fellow, National University of Singapore;
2003.9-2003.11: JSPS Invitation Fellow, National Institute of Materials and Materials.


Main research direction:
(1) Study on Transport Properties of High Tc Copper Oxide and Other Unconventional Superconductors
(2) Study on the physical properties of transition metal oxides
(3) physical problems in magnetic materials and spin electronics.


Main academic achievements:
Published nearly 100 papers (including authoritative magazine Nature 1, PNAS 1, Phys.Rev.Lett. 5). He cited more than 600 times, many of which cited more than 100 papers; some of the results in the Nature News and Views column on the introduction.
