 摘要

In this talk, I will introduce the setup that we have built in the past three years to create ultracold 23Na40K molecules from an ultracold atomic mixture gas. We have accidentally observed an AB+C —> AC+B type exchange reaction in experiment, where AB and AC are both weakly bound ultracold NaK molecules, B and C are K atoms in different Zeeman sub-levels. In this work, the full reaction products have been successfully observed for the first time in an ultracold chemistry experiment. The observed product provide an unique way to characterize the dynamics of the reaction process. By changing the magnetic field, the reaction can be turned on or off, and the microscopic state-to-state reaction rate coefficient can be controlled.

个人简介:

I have received my Bachelor and PhD degrees from University of Science and Technology of China in 2010 and 2015, respectively. During 2010 and 2013, I was studying on quantum memory experiments with cold atomic ensembles, where we have realized the operation of spin echoes with spin-waves in the memory at the single quantum level, as well as the dynamical freezing, qubit rotations of the spin-waves. At the end of 2013, I joined the new project of ultracold NaK molecules. We built the setup from scratch, and created the Sodium BEC in Jan. 2015, the BEC/DFG mixture in Sep. 2015, and the NaK Feshbach molecules in Mar. 2016. After receiving my PhD degree, I have won the Micius Fellowship in Jan. 2016, and currently work as a Postdoc at USTC.
