摘要:The detection of gravitational waves GW170817 and the subsequent observations of their optical and near-infrared counterparts AT2017gfo of binary compact star mergers have significantly enhanced our understanding of strong interactions. Furthermore, this event have effectively constrained the dense nuclear matter properties and the equation of state (EOS) in the interior of the merging stars. The gravitational waves emitted during both the inspiral and post-merger phases exhibit dependencies on the stellar tidal deformability, a property determined by the star's mass and EOS. Simultaneously, the kilonova light curve, as the electromagnetic counterpart of gravitational wave event, is influenced by the properties of the ejected material during the merger event. These properties are further correlated with binary parameters such as mass ratio, chirp mass, tidal deformability, and the EOS itself. In this presentation, I will elucidate how the EOS is imprinted into the multi-messenger signals and explore promising ways for constraining the EOS and identifying different types of compact stars such as the quark stars and hadronic stars.
