摘要:The development of cryo-electron microscopy (cryoEM) and cryo-electron tomography (cryoET) has revolutionized the research landscape concerning biological macromolecular machines. These techniques have enabled a systematically exploration of the mechanisms underlying the assembly and functions of individual proteins within their native environment. In this presentation, I will provide a concise overview about the workflow of the cutting-edge cryoEM and cryoET. I will also discuss our recent research on the 26S proteasome and methane oxidation enzyme (pMMO) using integrated approaches. I will show the molecular mechanisms of 26S proteasome activation and the in situ structure and activities of pMMO arrays. These studies highlight the power of cryoEM and cryoET in unravelling the complexities of biological processes at molecular level.
个人简介:
2014年本科毕业于华中科技大学物理学院;2019年博士毕业于北京大学前沿交叉学科研究院,导师为欧阳颀教授;2018.9-2018.12美国哈佛大学访问学生;2019年至2023年在英国牛津大学从事博士后研究工作,导师为章佩君教授。将于2024年1月份作为百人计划研究员加入浙江大学物理高等研究院。近年来在Nature, Molecular Cell, Science Advances, Nature Communications, PNAS等国际权威杂志发表研究论文10余篇。
