Announcement: 7th Annual Forum for Young Scholars at the Frontiers of Physics

Overview:

We are pleased to announce the 7th Annual Forum for Young Scholars at the Frontiers of Physics, aimed at recruiting faculty members for the School of Physics at Zhejiang University. This event welcomes outstanding young scholars from physics, astronomy, and related interdisciplinary fields to discuss cutting-edge topics and explore faculty opportunities at our School during the Forum.

Research Fields:

· Condensed Matter Physics

· Theoretical Physics

· Particle Physics

· Nuclear Physics

· Plasma Physics

· Optics

· Atomic and Molecular Physics

· Electron and Radio Physics

· Astrophysics

· Interdisciplinary Fields: Biophysics, Quantum Matter, Quantum Computing, Quantum Information

Eligibility:

· Candidates should be under the age of 38.

· Applicants should be aiming for positions such as ZJU-100 Young Professor and other national talent programs.

Tips：

· Format of Forum : Hybrid (Online and Offline)

o 20-minute presentation by each candidate.

o 10-minute discussion session following each presentation.

· Application Submission: Send a comprehensive CV (education, work experience, major publications, research achievements/statements, research plan) to phyac@zju.edu.cn with the subject line applicant’s full name + research interest + Physics Forum 2025.

· Reimbursements: For offline participants, domestic round-trip transportation and accommodation expenses will be covered as per the University's financial regulations.
