To explore the relationship between the intrinsic defects of semiconductor nanomaterials and their physical properties, and adjust their optical and electrical properties by controlling the types and concentrations of intrinsic defects; To develop high-yield and low-cost techniques for the growth of single crystalline and thin films black phosphorus; To research on carbon nanomaterials and its applications in lithium-ion batteries and field emission; To study the quantum transport characteristics of single-layer and few-layer two-dimensional materials, and fabricate quantum devices; To explore new 2D materials and study their rich physical properties.
