Institute of Applied Physics

The Institute of Applied Physics was established in 1998 and serves as an important academic institute for Master’s students, PhD students, and postdocs. The Institute currently has 7 faculty members, including 2 professors, 2 associate professors, and 3 lecturers. The Institute of Applied Physics currently conducts research in three research areas: semiconductor physics and photonic electric equipment, quantum electronics and precision measurement, and quantum information physics. In the past 20 years since its establishment, the Institute of Applied Physics has published over 200 academic papers in the three research domains mentioned above. At present, the Institute has undertaken 20 research programs at both the national and provincial levels and has been awarded twice with the Provincial Committee’s National Science and Technology Prize.
